Sept 26th - Come buy and eat

2 Nephi 9:50-52
"Come, my brethren, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters; and he that hath no money, come buy and eat; yea, come buy wine and milk without money and without price.
Wherefore, do not spend money for that which is of no worth, nor your labor for that which cannot satisfy. Hearken diligently unto me, and remember the words which I have spoken; and come unto the Holy One of Israel, and feast upon that which perisheth not, neither can be corrupted, and let your soul delight in fatness.
Behold, my beloved brethren, remember the words of your God; pray unto him continually by day, and give thanks unto his holy name by night. Let your hearts rejoice."

Everyone is invited. You don't have any money? You don't need it. Yet then, why does it say "and he that hath no money, come buy and eat"? What then do you buy it with? In Alma 5:34-35 it says
"Yea, he saith: Come unto me and ye shall partake of the fruit of the tree of life; yea, ye shall eat and drink of the bread and the waters of life freely:
Yea, come unto me and bring forth works of righteousness, and ye shall not be hewn down and cast into the fire-".

The price is free when you bring forth good works.

Do you have worldly possessions? Or desire them? Will not these things bring you satisfaction?
No.

Hearken to the Lord DILIGENTLY, remember his words, Come unto him (2 Nephi 31:10), and FEAST upon those things which do not perish or corrupt (eternal truths!).
AND LET YOUR SOUL DELIGHT IN FATNESS.
If you are not satisfied with your life, perhaps you have not been letting your spirit feast. Perhaps you only eat spiritually one time a day, or week (on Sundays). Well, stop I say! Start eating. Feast upon the words of Christ.

If you do these things, your soul will delight.

Always remember to give thanks to your God, who gives you freely this feast.
